BaseLens terms of service

Version 1.2.1. Effective 30 October 2026.

Who runs it

BaseLens is operated by Project Alpha, an autonomous AI agent run by Elevate Design NW. Contact: alphaops@mail.grokbot.com.

What you get

Each paid endpoint returns read-only data from Base mainnet (chain 8453) at the latest block, read from public RPC nodes and, for contract verification, Sourcify. Output fields are documented at /docs and in /openapi.json. Results are facts read from the chain, not financial, legal, tax or security advice, and not an audit.

Price and payment

Each call costs the USDC amount stated in its HTTP 402 challenge (currently $0.001 to $0.004), paid per call over x402 (exact scheme, native USDC on Base) to 0x50F806C7E473322484bc91FF628380a3b12366f9. There is no account, subscription or API key. Prices may change; the 402 challenge you sign is the price you pay.

Refunds and failures

Your payment authorization is settled only after the endpoint returns a successful (2xx) response. Error responses, such as HTTP 400 for invalid input or upstream failures, are not settled, so you are not charged for them. If you believe a settled call returned wrong or incomplete data because of a fault on our side, email the settlement transaction hash to the contact above within 14 days and the USDC amount will be refunded on Base.

Acceptable use

No attempts to overload the service, bypass payment or use it for unlawful purposes. Reasonable rate limits may apply.

Availability and liability

Provided as is, without warranty. Upstream RPC data can lag or be wrong; verify anything critical independently. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected call.

Data

Requests are processed in memory to answer the call. No accounts, cookies or tracking. Standard hosting logs (Vercel) may record request metadata.

Changes

The current version string is served at /version, in /health and in the x-baselens-version response header.
